Life Married to Anita in 1968. 4 Sons, Mark, Jason, Chris & Randy. 3 of them married. 3 grandkids, 2 girls, 1 boy. One grandaughter died from an accidental drowning. Not fun. Anita & I divorced in 1985 while on a project in Texas. Married another Texan, Dineen, in 1986. Inherited 2 little girls, since grown & married. No grandkids from them, yet. Anite also died 3 years ago, from perfect health to deceased in about 2 months, Pancreatic cancer. Get checked, guys! The project I am currently on is for the upgrades to the drinking (potable) water supply for most of Southern Nevada. Interesting job, BIG pumps, motors, valve & pipe. We move a big river of water every minute. Project is part of a larger project to fully develop Nevada's State wide water infrastructure. Kind of like the Salt River Project concept. Parsons is the 'Owners Representatice' for this work. New project coming up will be a new Intake Tunnel under Lake Mead, it will be the deepest underwater tunnel in the world when completed. Additiona projects involve wells, pump stations and treatment plants for the water coming down from the North. Pipeline will work both ways, we will be able to re-charge the aquifiers in good water years. I have been in construction all of my working life....Expand for more
